CURRICULUM

-born in the Province of Venice on 06-06-1969
-began studying the piano at the age of seven, following the instruction given by his musician father
-at nine years of age played F. Schubert’s Improvisations and Beethoven’s “Pathetique” Symphony in a concert
-at ten made his debut in an open air concert in Puglia, to enormous public and critical acclaim, being considered an infant prodigy
-was admitted in the same year to the “Benedetto Marcello” conservatory of music in Venice, taking first place among 150 entrants, with maximum marks
-at the age of eleven played at La Fenice theatre in Venice in an evening recital in homage to Bela Bartok
-at twelve performed Chopin’s “Etudes”
-at fifteen played the Concerto in F by Gershwin during the Finals organised by the conservatory
-took his diploma as an external student –still in Venice- with maximum marks cum laude
-between 1996 and 1999 performed more than two hundred concerts throughout Italy
-in July 2000 performed P.J. Tchaikovsky’s Concerto No. 1 in B flat minor
-in August 2000 gave ten concerts in Puglia and Basilicata, in the provinces of Bari, Matera and Potenza
-In November 2000, in a concert in homage to A. Piazzolla which was held at Senago (MI), he appeared as a soloist accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra “Paul Constantiescu” of Ploiesti, Romania, together with the singer Milva and the percussionist Tullio di Piscopo
-in January 2001 played with the National Orchestra of Radio Bucharest in a live, nationwide transmission, presenting, for the first time in Romania, the music of A. Piazzolla
-subsequently, played as a soloist with the “Guido Cantelli” Orchestra of Milan
-ever conscious of his social responsibilities , he performs in aid of AVIS-AIDO, Italian Red Cross, Telethon, Amnesty International
-in addition to Romania, he has performed in Moldavia, Holland, Luxembourg and England
-the last two years have been devoted to the preparation of S. Rachmaninoff’s difficult Third Concerto
